Keno is Keno right? Sort of I suppose. The general idea remains the same throughout most Keno games. But, the style, and some slight variations of the game do exist.

Veggie Keno is a Vista Gaming creation that has a slight variation of the game that may make it a bit more fun. Or, maybe not. All depends on personal taste.

Regardless if you like Veggie Keno or not, I’m going to tell you all about it anyway. I play the games day in and day out so that I can share my wealth of wonderful information with you fine folks, so humor me for a bit and read my review of Veggie Keno.

Now that my sudden rush of sarcasm has left the system, we can get a little serious. Not too serious, but just serious enough to keep you informed, while maintaining some inkling of entertainment.

Veggie Keno has the same principles of any Keno game. You pick some numbers, hope they match up, and hope to win. The theme is based on vegetables with each number symbolized by a certain vegetable. The design is so-so, but that’s not why I like Veggie Keno.

I like Veggie Keno because you play more numbers that your typical Keno game. This gives you a little bit more excitement and chances to win in the long run.

Veggie Keno Rules

Veggie Keno has 80 numbers you can pick from. You can play anywhere from 1, to all 15 numbers. The more numbers you play; the higher amounts you can win when you match all the numbers. Ill cover the pay outs in just a second.

Each game can be played between 3 levels of betting amounts.

Game controls are laid out at the bottom and include a button to select how many numbers which to play. A bet amount button. And game play controls like a turbo option that speeds up how fast the balls drop. And an auto play feature that allows up to 60 games to be played in a row using your pre determined values.

How to Play Veggie Keno

To start, you will need to decide how much to bet for the next game. Then choose how many numbers to play. To pick your numbers, you may manually click on the board to select favorite, or lucky numbers. Or, just click on the random button that will pick all the numbers for you.

Once all your selections are made, click the play button and the game begins. Once all numbers have dropped, you will find out if you won or lost.

Rinse and repeat to keep playing.

It’s a simple game that doesn’t take much skill or brain power to complete.

Veggie Keno Pay Outs

Each amount of numbers played will have different pay outs. Obviously the higher pay outs will be when you have more numbers selected. You will see how much you can win, and how many correct numbers will pay out on the left side where the pay table is. It will change each time you make a different selection to reflect the changes you have made.

Here is a complete list of how many numbers pay out based on numbers played.

1 number pays when 1 number is hit.
2 pays 2 numbers
3 pays 3 numbers
4 pays 4 numbers
5 pays 5 numbers

6 pays 6 numbers
7 pays 7 numbers
8 pays 8 numbers
9 pays 9 numbers
10 pays 9 numbers
11 pays 10 numbers
12 pays 10 numbers
13 pays 11 numbers
14 pays 12 numbers
15 pays 13 numbers

You can see that most numbers will pay out regardless of how many you play. The catch is that the lower payouts will not even win you your money back. The more payouts are nice, but it does take away from the higher paying matched numbers just a tad.

The maximum win at $0.25 a game using 15 numbers is $2,500.

Final Thoughts

Veggie Keno is fun to play and I do like having more payouts at the bottom of the scale. Since we will rarely hit all of our numbers, I prefer making something, rather than losing over and over.

I’m not a huge fan of the theme, but this is pure personal preference. I grew up on a farm and I’m sick of seeing vegetables to be perfectly honest. Therefore, I’m a little biased when it comes to this design.
