Baccarat from Vista Gaming is as easy to play as flipping a coin. In this game you can bet on the Player, the Banker or Tie. The Tie bet pays 8:1. The object of the game is simply to guess which hand will be closer to 9 or if the hands will tie. Scoring is taken care of by the game software and so are the rules. Sometimes either the Banker or Player hand or both will receive a third card – but the rules are slightly different for each, giving the Banker hand a slight edge. Payouts for the Banker bet are assessed a 5% commission when you win for a return of 1.95:1. Even with that, it is best to bet on Banker every time in the long run because the 'third card' rules still favor the Banker hand even after paying commission.

Scoring is done via Modelo 10 rules. This means that no hand can be counted as more than 9 as any 10 values are void. For instance a K/3 hand (13) is counted as 3 and 6/7 hand (13) is also counted as 3.
Player's 3rd card rule: If either Player or Banker have 8 or 9 then no 3rd card is dealt and the winning hand is declared a “Natural”. If Player does not draw a 3rd card, Bank will stand on any hand of 6 or more. If Player does take a 3rd card, Banker may take a 3rd according to the following.
Banker's 3rd card rule: If Banker hand is 2 or less Banker draws no matter what. If Bank hand is 3 then a 3rd card is dealt unless Player 3rd card was 8. If Bank 2 card total was 4 then bank draws unless player 3rd card was 0, 1, 8, or 9. If Bank was 5, draws if player's 3rd was 4, 5, 6, or 7. If Bank was 6 then draw 3rd card unless players 3rd was 6 or 7. Bank stands on 7.
