What is needed for a winning combination is to simply land two or more matching symbols next to each other, anywhere on the screen, on adjacent reels. Symbols can stack to fill entire reels so every symbol with a side or corner touching an identical symbol (except on same reel) is a winning combination.

Ice Age Slots has a wild symbol and a special payout of 500x total bet for the spin when the entire screen is filled with Acorn symbols (and/or Wilds). Filling the screen with any other symbol will result in the payout factored by how many symbols are touching.
