Breakout features a basic game at one line and a top game with five lines that can be staked with 5 or 10 credits per spin. You start play by playing the basic game. Wins of 2 or more credits can be transferred to the meters of the top game. You can also try to gamble your winnings on the bottom. 2 credits can be turned into 5 (40% chance) or lost (60% chance). Press the Hold buttons to keep any of the three reel positions from a previous spin. Auto hold is always on but you can cancel a reel by pressing its Hold button to free it up for the spin.

As soon as you collect at least 4 credits you can play the top game.
