General Information

There’s a lot going on with Bier Fest so let’s jump right in to the details.

This is a 5 reel, 3 row video slot that uses 25 pay lines. You can bet a penny, or up to $10 per line. There is no line selection in Bier Fest; which means you will need to be playing all 25 lines for every spin. But don’t worry, the minimum bet per spin is still just $0.25. It’s suitable for smaller, and larger bankrolls with its $250 max bet.

Symbols

Bier Fest gets its design based on the German Oktoberfest festival. Therefore, the symbols and game are themed around this concept. It’s done quite well, and I love the polka music playing in the background as you watch the barrels of beer splash down on the reels.

Bier Fest utilizes the traditional 9 through Ace symbols as the lower paying ones. Then adds in some flare and good old fashioned German flavor with old world German themed symbols.

There’s 4 higher paying symbols. Three of which are beer maidens, or wenches if you will. Then a portly German lad in lederhosen who looks a bit tipsy. The highest payout is 750 coins when 5 of the girl holding the beer lands.

Wilds

The wild symbol only shows up on reel 3. But, when it does land, it expands to cover all of reel 3. It may also at random, cover reels 2 and 4.

Bier Drinking

The glass of beer shows on reels 2 and 4 only. When appearing, it will be drank by an invisible man, or woman. Women can chug beer too. After the glass is finished it will reveal a random symbol or reveal a cash prize.

Wild Pig Racing

I’ve never been to an Oktoberfest, but I’m assuming that there are pig races due to this next bonus feature.

The wild pig racing feature is triggered when a pig symbol lands on reel 1. And, a pretzel symbol lands on reel 5. The race is on as the cute little piggy’s race across all 3 rows randomly leaving wilds in their rumbling wake. This creates multiple winning combinations on the spin that triggered this feature.

Scatter Symbol and Free Spins

The scatter is the beer stein symbol. Hit 3 or more of these to trigger the Bier Fest Free Spins.

From here you will be prompted to select from a group of beer steins. Each selection will award either more free spins or a bonus multiplier. Once you select a stein that says “Collect” the free spins begin. If you picked a payout multiplier, each spin will use the multiplier if you win.
