Pai Gow Pokerby Galewind Software Corp.
Pai Gow Poker is a game adapted from a Chinese tile game and played with a deck of 53 cards. The extra card is of course a Joker and it may be used for Aces, Straights, and Flushes but when it does not make a ranking hand it will always be counted as an Ace. Player and dealer are both dealt 7 cards. The object is to create 5-card and 2-card hands. The only specific rule here is that the 2-card hand can not be superior to the 5 card hand. Galewind software will sort cards for you (ascending) and score them for you (move 2 for the back hand and reserve 5 for the front hand) according to the house way.
There is very little to be gained by deviating from the strategy the software gives you in splitting the cards, if any. Hard core Pai Gow enthusiasts may or may not be able to shave about 0.04% from the house edge. Others, even rank beginners can play the game much like baccarat or a coin toss with consistent results.
