Although Galewind Software offers the most generous rules possible for their blackjack and table games there just isn't really much they can do to make American Roulette with a lower house edge. The game has such a high house edge because of the second Zero space which doubles the house edge. We recommend you play Galewind's European (single Zero) Roulette for the best odds. There is one bet on the American version that can't be found on single zero roulette that can make your odds worse than 5.26 percent at 7.89 percent. But there are other ways to bet 5 numbers without giving up that much to the house.

One feature we really like in Galewind's roulette and that is the “Remove Chip” button. Rather than shift-clicking or clearing all chips if you don't like the last one placed, you can use this button to bring up an “eraser” then hover it over any chip(s) you want to remove and click them into oblivion. The layout of the game is nice too, there is nothing cluttered and game play is quick and intuitive.
