The Art Of Games is a fairly new casino games software developer. Their linked-in page claims a founding date of 2006, others place that as 2008, and we find their website first archived in 2011. We have not confirmed their actual location, but sources indicate they are headquartered in Curacao, which is most likely where the game servers are. We find reference to branch offices in China, Australia, Cyprus, and the Netherlands.

Their selection of games seems impressive for such a young developer with about 100 online casino games of varying complexity and qualities. Several casinos are offering the software and we find white-label offerings, so many more could be using the product that we are unaware of. They offer a complete back end solution including managing all data on their servers. They can also customize games for any market including branded cards, table felts, and chips as well as provide unique voice overs and non-standard language support for specific markets.

The Art Of Games Software

The casinos we tested all offered instant play, no download Flash games that could be sampled in practice mode without the need to download software or create an account. We were able to access the games in less than 15 seconds on first load over a VPN, which may have accounted for the delay in loading. Subsequent sessions loaded the same games in less than 3 seconds. The dealer voices seemed computer generated on some games, but the graphics were crisp, and game play was smooth with no delays. Card games were presented in 3D quality and video poker played as expected. Memory usage and virtual memory taxing were low to medium, indicating a clean engine not likely to lag or cause delays and interfere with game play.

The Art Of Games Casino Games and Slots

There are over 100 games to choose from including exotics like Fan Tan and Stravaganza, as well as pub favorites like Chuck a Luck in addition to the more standard and well known games. We found almost 40 table and poker games, 10 video pokers (9/6/4000 Jacks or Better), and over 50 slots games. The slots are categorized as 3 Reel, 5 reel, Simple, Photo, Deluxe, and 3D video slots with a good variety within each offering. The graphics are rich and the user interfaces were all well thought out.

The 3-reel slots like Cherry Bomb Slot first presented as a full sized floor machine. Clicking on the reels brought the play area into view and clicking on the pay table shifted the point of view to that part of the machine. Some of the Video slots offered less than optimal control over such things as paylines - increasing in odd multiples rather than adding a single line with each push of the button. Sound Effects and Music could be toggled on or off, but volumes were not adjustable. Max Bet, Auto Play, and easy access to the pay table were readily apparent and consistent throughout the suit.

The blackjack suite was extensive with several specialty games including Spanish, 3 Card, and Double Attack Blackjack but game help was not readily apparent beyond the rules on the table felt.

The Art Of Games Security

Although the casinos we tested displayed quite a few logos on the footer of the web pages, we found none of the seals 'clickable' so we were unable to determine in a cursory fashion if they did indeed have a 96.3% pay out rate, certified Random Number Generator, or even examine their license from Curaçao. Privacy was "assured", Security of personal and financial data is assured with promises and the use of high-grade 128 bit public key encryption, and they offer a sensible primer on personal responsibility for your online security. It is probably safe to assume that security is foremost as the same protocol that protects the casinos protects the player.

The Art Of Games Conclusion

The Art Of Games provides a complete casino suite of over 100 games that are available to play instantly over the internet simply using your web browser. The software seems sound and fair, but with no TST or GLI seal or other form of assurance, we can't be sure at this point if the RNG powering the games is beyond question. And although The Art Of Games website lists many ways to contact the company, we would prefer to see a bit more transparency, especially from a young company, such as their corporate location and ideally a list of the board of directors if they are a corporation. The games seem great, but without more to go on we can't really give a recommendation either way at this point.

If you have experience with this company or any casinos using The Art Of Games product we would be glad to hear from you. If you have information that would help us form a recommendation or notice factual errors, or would like to submit any correction for this review our doors are always open.
