Pai Gow Pokerby Connective Games Overview
This card offering from Connective Games is a mix between modern American poker and the Chinese tile game of Pai Gow. It is played with a single deck of 52 cards plus a Joker. The Joker may be used to make a Straight or Flush, if it can't be used for these hands it will be counted as an Ace. After placing a bet between 1.00 and 1,000.00 you and the dealer will each receive 7 cards. Yours will be visible but the dealer's will be dealt face-down. The goal is to create two poker hands; one will contain 5 cards and the other will have 2 cards. The only rule in respect to how you may split the cards is that the 5-card hand must be superior in ranking to the 2-card hand. Connective Games does not provide a “House Way” button (the software will not sort your cards for you). There are no side bets allowed. The top hand is Five Aces – 4 Aces plus a Joker. Low straights (A, 2, 3, 4, 5) are second in rank to high straights (10, J, Q, K, A).
