Red Dogby PartyGaming

PartyGaming logo
The game of Red Dog from PartyGaming is played with a single deck of 52 cards and no Jokers. Although it may seem counter-intuitive, in this game (because of the 11:1 payout for three of a kind) players actually have slightly better odds when more decks are used. The object of the game is to predict that a third dealt card will fall in value between the first two cards. After the initial bet and seeing the first two cards players can check or raise their bet. 2's are always lowest and Aces are always highest in value or rank. The payouts are based on the 'distance' or spread of the first two cards with smaller spreads , 4 and 7 for example ( a spread of two) paying better than a wide spread (2 and K). Card counting is useless as the deck is shuffled between each game.

When the first two cards are consecutive or next to each other in rank, such as 4/5 it is considered a push. If the first two cards are a pair a third card will be drawn without the option of raising your bet. If the third card makes three of the same value the payout is 11:1 if any other value then the bet is a push.
