This game plays just like its single Zero European counterpart except you'll have an extra Zero space (0 and 00) working against you and there is no allowance for La Partage to return half of your even money bets when the ball lands in a green well. The game is played on a wheel with 38 slots or wells, 1-36, 0, and 00. Players can bet low risk with near even money returns (house edge on black, red, odd, even, 1st 18, last 18 is 5.26% but you can make it worse by betting on 'first five' 0, 00, 1, 2, and 3 if you want to give them 7.89%). Possible returns are 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 11, 17, and 35:1. Each kind of bet has an increasing payout relative to a decreased probability of occurring but the house edge remains the same on all but the fool's bet.

Many players like to spread their risk around the table as the only limit is the max bet per area and for the spin. It is acceptable to bet 1.00 on every number and both zeros if you would like to see for yourself that the house edge is written in stone. This $2 lesson would go a long way toward debunking so-called roulette systems because no matter where the ball lands you will have invested 38.00 and received a 35:1 payout plus your bet back for $36 every time, forever, as long as the wheel goes round. We suggest European Roulette, the lesson only costs 1.00 that way!
