Amuzi Gaming

Amuzi Gaming is located in Belize City, Belize. They provide a casino software solution for online gaming. The company is fairly new, having initially registered their domain name in 2010 and as of late summer 2012, we know of only one casino running their software and games; Casinoval, also launched in 2010. The Amuzi Gaming website states that the company is comprised of a group of diverse specialists and that their professional engineers and developers come from all over the world.

Software

Currently, Amuzi casino games are only available in a download casino client. It took several attempts to download the casino software but once installed, it has operated without any problems. Games must be downloaded one at a time, which is probably preferable to some multi-gigabyte casino software clients that install all games in the suite, regardless of customer preference. Once downloaded, games load quickly and are ready to play at a moment's notice.

Games

Although the Amuzi Gaming website makes mention of poker and blackjack, the casino we tested didn't carry these games. We were however able to play and review about 30 video slots games, several video poker variants plus American and European roulette. The roulette games played nicely with results within expectations for such a small sample. The video poker pay tables are quite decent with 9/6 Jacks or Better and full 800:1 payouts for Royal Flush at max bet. The slots games is where this software really shined though.

Slots

The video slots are all very high quality games with great themes, graphics, animations, sound effects and features. The user control console is unique, but intuitive and easy to get accustomed to. Many of the games offer networked, randomly awarded progressive jackpots that are all set to go off before reaching a certain level. The highest paying progressive series, Big Cash, is programmed to be awarded before reaching $15,000.

The smaller jackpot games such as the Treasure Chest and Won World progressives also award minor and major jackpots with much lower prizes.

Most of the video slots have 25 paylines with a few at 50 and one at 101 paylines. There are many dynamic payline games with 3-9-27-81 and 243 ways to win and one of online gaming's best collections of 1125 ways to win machines. There are currently no classic 3-reel slots in the gaming suite.

Licensing and Security

We were not able to locate any jurisdictional seals of approval on the Amuzi Gaming Website, and the one casino we examined was simply licensed by the eGaming authority of Curacao.

Our Conclusion

The slots and casino games offered by Amuzi Gaming are certainly on par with most, and superior to many online gaming providers. While the gaming suite is limited, it may be all a slots player needs for some diversity. In our opinion, the company should offer assurances through game audits and testing by world recognized authorities stating that the games are indeed fair. This may be a software that needs to mature a bit and provide some assurances before we can fully recommend it to our readers from a security and fairness standpoint.
